Emptying the black tank - What to do if you are running full and don't have a dump station
Last year you may recall that we put in a 50 Amp Post at Karen's Mom's house in Michigan, where we've been staying the past few weeks, but one thing we don't have here is a place to dump our black water. Our two grey tanks are not an issue. We have an adapter that we hook a long garden hose to, that allows us to empty those tanks to the back of the field. However the black tank is of a concern to us. Since we've been here we've determined our best options. 1. A Porta-Potty. We found a place that was able to deliver a porta-john to us at a cost of around $100 for the entire month. 2. Buy a portable black water tank. This is a good idea if you sometimes find yourself in a situation where there is not a convenient dump station and you NEED to use your own toilet.
