Chappy's Back
Chappy is now back at home! We brought him home early since work is keeping me busy and we were not sure when we'd have time to do it next. I have to say, it is good to have him back here and this time will give me an opportunity to do a few of the projects I've been thinking of before we start heading out for the long haul.
One small thing we noticed when picking him up though is that one of his tires was exceptionally low. I'm going to have to keep an eye on it and maybe even take it in to have it looked at or replaced if it keeps going low. It is better to catch it while he was sitting though instead of going down the road.
If we can ever get the insurance company moving and actually have people in to work on our kitchen and basement, then we may have to think about moving him to Michigan early, but for now he's home and I'm happy.
The lake campground was a good experience overall. I'm glad we had him out there because it did make it easier to get him in or out, but not so easy that I think it was totally worth what we paid. We probably would have gotten our moneys worth if we had small kids that lived at the beach all summer but it just wasn't for us. I think we'll try our old campground next year. Even though it is a bit of a hike from the house, it is much cheaper and less hassle.
